Please read the following terms and conditions

 

• £20 deposit required at the time of booking to secure your date and is non refundable 

• The £80 package includes the dry hire of the Candy Cart, 10 Plastic sweet jars and scoops only. A £50 refundable deposit is required on top of the £80 but this is refundable at the collection of the cart if no damage to any of the items. If the cart is damaged beyond repair then a £250 payment will be charged 

• The £120 package includes the above plus the jars will be filled and bags will be supplied. All leftover sweets will be yours to re-fill jars. It also includes decoration of the cart to match your theme

• Full payment is required 4 weeks before the event. In the event of non payment then the deposit along with any payments made will be lost. Monthly instalments will be available but final payment must be received as above

• At least an hour is required to set up the cart. It is your responsibility to ensure that we will be able to access the venue in enough time to set up. 

• Please ensure that the Venue has enough space to accommodate the cart. Please ensure you let us know where the cart will be situated and provide photos of the area if available 

• If we are providing sweets you must inform us of any allergies

• Once the cart is assembled IT MUST NOT BE MOVED. Any damage will lead to the £250.00 payment being charged 

• No drinks are to be used near the cart 

• No excessive leaning or sitting on the cart 

• Do not remove any items or decorations  from the cart. They remain the property of Candy Hearts 

• The cart is intended for indoor use only. If to be used outside prior permission is required and is dependent on weather conditions

• Payments are to be made by bank transfer only

• The cart will usually be collected on the evening of the event, this will be discussed at a later time 

• The cart, all decorations, jars, scoops and tongs remain the property of Candy Hearts

• Insurance - It is your responsibility to ensure that the hired items are covered by that of your own insurance or the venues insurance with regards to public liability risks. Candy Hearts will not be liable for any claims made by any persons for injuries or damages caused by or in conjunction with the hired items, including our fitting service.

• Liability - Candy Hearts accepts no liability for any injuries or damage to any persons or property arising from any items under hire.

• Customer Liability- Candy Hearts cannot be deemed liable should any guests at your function take an allergic reaction to any sweets/cakes/biscuits provided at your event. Should any of your guests have a nut allergy or similar please notify us and we will try our very best to provide an alternative for such guests. If an alternative cannot be provided it is the customer’s responsibility to notify their guests.

Children should be supervised at all times as Candy Hearts CANNOT be held responsible if a child chokes on any of the items provided at the event.
